#Focusrite asio driver not working pro
For a list of officially supported audio interfaces, refer to the Pro Tools system requirements pages. We have found this configuration to work best for customers, but it has not gone through Avid's qualification processes. *Although this guide suggests you to use ASIO4ALL with Pro Tools, ASIO4ALL is not officially supported or qualified by Avid for use with Pro Tools.

Most ASIO-compatible Audio Interfaces can be added to ASIO4ALL control panel and can be used for Pro Tools.(Please refer to the "Instruction Manual" included in the ASIO4ALL installer folder.).Please note that the ASIO4ALL driver is not officially supported/qualified by AVID for use with Pro Tools, but is known to work in most instances where the built-in sound card does not have an ASIO Driver.Option 5: Using ASIO4ALL instead of the audio interface's driver. make sure the buffer setting on the audio interface's control panel in advance. Select a different audio interface in the Playback Engine dropdown menu, and/or change the H/W Buffer Size to a valid configuration (32, 64, 128, 256, 512, or 1024 samples only).When the loading screen appears, press and hold the "N" key until the Playback Engine window appears.Option 4: Change the Playback Engine configuration during Pro Tools launch. Click Apply and OK to confirm the changes.Set your on-board sound device as Default Device also on the Recording tab of the Sound Control Panel.Or Connect a 1/8 inch plug to the Mic input/Headphone output of your PC. If your on-borad sound device is not listed, right-click anywhere in the blank space in the Sound Control Panel window and select "Show Disabled Device",.High Definition Audio), and select "Set as Default Device".
